Summary: Assists the technologists and radiologists with patient throughput, patient safety, clerical and logistical operations. These positions includes, but is not limited to, the following duties:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet, verify, and prepare patients for exams in person and by phone in a professional and compassionate manner
- Obtain/update all necessary patient information to accurately schedule and prepare patients for their exams
- Provide patients with necessary exam instructions, questionnaires, waivers and company paperwork (including HIPAA and other requirements)
- Obtain clinical indications for exam
- Prepare and clean rooms between patients, including linens, stocking supplies, and disinfecting surfaces
- Transport patients to and from the exam rooms
- Monitor patients during pre- and post- imaging process as needed
- May require lifting or assisting patients with mobility

Successful, well established, Radiology Group in Bellingham, WA, is currently seeking a full-time Mammography Technologist for our busy outpatient department. Shifts are Monday - Friday, day shift.
Position Summary: Under the direction of a radiologist, performs mammographic procedures at technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of mammography procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas of procedures as required.
Physical Demands: Requires manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination for operation and trouble shooting of all department equipment. Duties regularly require standing, walking and stooping. Requires eyesight sufficient to operate equipment and review digital images.
Working Conditions: Exposure to communicable diseases, ionizing radiation, and other conditions common to a clinic environment.

- Follows prescribed safety standards in operating mammography equipment.
- Instructs patients’ regarding procedures.

- Authorizes release of patient upon completion of exam.

- Enhances professional growth through CME.

Required Qualifications:
- Must have completed an accredited course in Radiologic technology.
- Current certification with ARRT (R) and (M)
- Current state license.

- Must have basic computer skills.
Pay: Range is $38.93 -$50.92 per hour dependent on qualifications and professional experience

Successful, well established, Radiology Group in Bellingham, WA, has multiple openings for a Radiologic Technologist for our busy outpatient department. Shifts vary.
1. Full time position Monday – Friday, 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM
2. Per Diem - Shifts varying between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm, weekends 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Duties regularly require standing, walking and stooping, regularly assists in lifting patients on to the x-ray table and placing them in appropriate positions for operation of equipment. Duties require lifting of objects up to ten (10) pounds and occasionally up to fifty (50) pounds. Requires eyesight sufficient to operate equipment and review digital images.
Working Conditions: Exposure to communicable diseases, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations and other conditions common to a clinic environment.

Summary: This Pre Authorization role is part of the Revenue Cycle and is tasked with confirming insurance eligibility for all scheduled exams and obtaining pre-authorization for services as applicable to facilitate payment.
Duties and responsibilities:
Review eligibility and authorizations work lists throughout the day and prioritize action items as needed.
Share the workload of incoming/outgoing contact with patients, referring providers, modality sites, neighboring department staff to field questions related to insurance pre-authorization and eligibility
Identify when prior authorization is required:
- Ensure pre-authorization is in place prior to exam; obtain auth # and record all correspondence.
- Work with third party Radiology Benefit Managers or payers, referring offices to request all clinical information as needed to initiate request for pre-authorization
- Coordinate with referring provider offices to ensure prior authorization is in place in scenarios where MBI does not initiate auth
- Close contact with departments (modalities) required. Referring offices are contacted by Pre Auth if reauthorization is required due to protocol changes, new order requirements, new insurance information, etc..
- Ensure that patients are aware of their financial obligation and have completed the necessary paperwork and the modality site has been informed via detailed system notes if patient is opting to proceed prior to approved authorization
- Provide onsite training to referring offices as directed by management.
Verify insurance eligibility/benefits for all scheduled exams.
Liaison with other departments as it relates to pre-authorization and eligibility.
High volume of data entry and a prioritized, task-oriented workflow
Provide backup to fellow team members, as necessary
Perform other duties as assigned

Successful, well established, Radiology Group in Bellingham, WA, is currently seeking a FT RDMS credentialed Sonographer for our busy outpatient department. Shifts are M-F, 10 hour shifts, rotating day off, no call, potential for weekend shifts in the future. Potential candidates must have the ability to perform accurately and efficiently abdomen, pelvic, small parts, hernias, and obstetrical. Prefer a strong background in obstetrical scanning. Experience in shoulder ultrasounds and pediatric scanning a plus. Strong computer skills necessary. Experience with PACS and structured reporting helpful. Preferred 2 years experience in an outpatient clinical setting.
Pay: $43.00 - $58.90 DOE
